Independent Higher Education Annual Conference

Our Director of Product, Stuart Smith, will be presenting ‘A deep dive into Clearing using the latest real-time data insights’ at this year’s IHE conference, considering how institutions can maximise their impact for Clearing 2019. Using real-time data from The Complete University Guide and Whatuni.com, which collectively accumulated traffic of over 1.25 million page views on A-Level Results Day 2018, Stuart will explore both subject level and mission group trends.
Stuart’s session takes place on Tuesday (27th Nov) at 2.40 – 3.40pm.
British Council – International Education Services Conference (IES)
5-6 December, 2018, Manchester Central
The theme of this year’s IES conference is ‘Roll with it, or revolutionise?’, considering strategy, innovation and intelligence that will help prepare institutions for an ever-changing international education sector.
Jonah Duffin (Chief Marketing Officer), Danielle Lapham (Campaign Manager, SEO) and Erica da Rocha (Campaign Manager, CRM) will be presenting on ‘How to engage with prospective international students in a digital age’, covering great content, SEO & PPC, social campaigns and display advertising. The session will be a guide to international digital marketing, as well as a ‘lessons learnt’ from the management of our 12 local language sites.
The session takes place on Wednesday (5th Dec) at 3.15pm.
Scottish Universities International Group Conference 2019
18 January, University of Strathclyde
Client Director Oliver Palmer will be sharing successful case stories in his session ‘Examining best practice in Scottish international student recruitment’ at the SUIG conference this January. He’ll be considering data, engagement and conversion to illustrate what Scottish universities can do to identify opportunity, create an agile strategy and promote authentic content in the international student recruitment market.
